Nigerian Diaspora Millennials

80’s babies. 90’s kids. 2000’s young adults.
70’s, 90’s, even 2000’s babies are in the mix too.
We are Millennials. The cool kids. The doers. We do things our way.
We are selfish, yet communal. The “selfie” generation.
We are self absorbed, yet self aware. We are aware of the impact that we can make.
We are digital, yet manual. We work with our hands, minds, and hearts.
We are local, yet global. We are change makers wherever we are.
We are trendy, yet trendsetters. We embrace life, but strive for greater prosperity.
We are cool, yet are hopes, dreams, and passions are on fire.
We are Millennials. Millennials living in a multi-local world.
We are from here, we are from there, yet our roots bring us back home.
Home is where the heart is.
We are here; Nigeria is there.
We are globally dispersed, yet locally home.
We are there; Nigeria is here.
Somehow the worlds meet, yet are separate.
We are the Nigerian Diaspora Millennials.
We are the #234DiasporaMillennials.

What is a #234DiasporaMillennial? They are Nigerian Diaspora Millennials. The “234” is the Nigerian country code (with the hashtag of course). Here we share our stories.

If you’re a #234DiasporaMillennial or know of any, we’d love to hear your stories.
